• Kristia L. Ballard and James E. Moyers are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Jacob Malachi Moyers, born Feb. 24, 2010, at 8:24 a.m. at Brookwood Medical Center. He weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is the grandson of Lisa and Scott Simpson, Tim Ballard, Betty I. Davis and Raymond E. Moyers. Great-grandparents are Henry and Vickey Simpson, John and Donna Ballard and Betty Lou and Vigil McDonald.
