Patricia Bradberry of Alabaster was named first runner-up in the 27th-annual Ms. Alabama Nursing Home Pageant Monday at The Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham. Bradberry, the current Ms. Shelby Ridge Health and Rehab, was escorted by Chris Schmidt, owner of Shelby Ridge Rehab Select.

Bradberry earns first runner-up

— Patricia Bradberry of Alabaster was named first-runner up in the 27th-annual Ms. Alabama Nursing Home Pageant at The Wynfrey Hotel Monday.

Bradberry, who now holds the title of Ms. Shelby Ridge Health and Rehab, was one of 11 finalists to compete in the statewide contest. Ms. Fair Haven Retirement Center, Jacqueline Levy Lishkoff of Birmingham, was crowned the winner.

Bradberry and Shelby Ridge staff went out to celebrate at a restaurant post-pageant.

β€œ(Bradberry) did a wonderful job,” said John Matson, director of communications for the Alabama Nursing Home Association. β€œShe had a lot of fans here.”
