Police Reports for the week of December 5, 2009

The following are incident and offense reports from the Alabaster Police Department from Nov. 23-27:

Nov. 23

-Damage to property from Fulton Springs Road (highway, street). Damaged were a passenger side bumper, front fender and headlight assembly.

-First report of injury from Alabaster Police Department (government, public building).

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Grande View Lane. Stolen was a pair of ladies 14-karat gold Tiffany style earring with two diamonds valued at $2,995.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Sunset Trail (other, unknown).

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Jefferson Lane. Stolen was a 2010 tag decal.

-Theft of property/burglary from the 2000 block of King Charles Court. Stolen and recovered was a Toyota Corolla valued at $20,000.

Nov. 24

-Theft of property from Colonial Promenade Parkway (other, unknown). Stolen a cell phone valued at $400

-Information only from Highway 119 (other, unknown).

-Domestic violence investigation/harassment from 1400 block of Heather Lane. Confiscated, seized was less than 1 gram of marijuana.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Glenn Abbey Lane. Stolen were a Smith and Wesson 357 valued at $300, a 12-gauge shotgun valued at $150, furniture valued at $1,500, four dinette chairs valued at $800, a centerpiece valued at $500, clothes and shoes valued at $3,000 and jewelry valued at $3,000.

-Property damage from the 1900 block of Butler Road (parking lot garage). Damaged were three fence posts.

-Negotiating worthless negotiable instrument from the 100 block of Oak Street.

-Theft of property from the 600 block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (department store). Stolen were items valued at $76.

-Harassing communications from the 2300 block of Windsor Court.

-Domestic incident from the 1500 block of Kent Dairy Road.

-Domestic incident from the 1400 block of King James Drive.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from Highway 31 (parking lot, garage). Recovered were 2.5 grams of white powder substance believed to be methamphetamine.

-For information only from the 100 block of Churchill Drive.

Nov. 25

-Theft of property from Best Buy (department store). Stolen were three PlayStation portable Go’s valued at $596.85.

-Domestic incident from the 100 block of Berryhill Circle.

-Theft of property from the 300 block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (department store). Stolen were two women’s Xccelerator TR running shoes valued at $89.98.

-Animal complaint /dog attack from the 200 block of Brenda Drive.

-Domestic dispute from the 300 block of Willow Glenn Drive.

-Theft of property from Wood Forest Bank, 630 Colonial Promenade Parkway (department store). Stolen was a cell phone valued at $450.

-Identity theft from the Internet.

-Damage to property from Veterans Park (other, unknown).

-Domestic violence investigation/harassment from the 500 block of Olde Towne Lane.

-Criminal mischief from Thompson High School, Warrior Drive (school, college). Damaged was a 1996 Chevrolet Impala.

Nov. 26

-Theft of property from the 2100 block of Butler Road (convenience store). Stolen were four Hershey’s candy bard at 69 cents each valued at $2.76.

-Throwing or shooting a deadly or dangerous missile into an occupied vehicle/criminal mischief from the 1100 block of County Road 95 (highway, street). Damaged was a 2004 Jeep Liberty passenger front door and window in the amount of $400.

-Harassment/criminal mischief from Wooten Road and Joye Lane.

-Recovered property from the parking lot of Aliant Bank. Recovered were a ladies’ wallet, two Social Security cards, a MasterCard, driver’s license and two $20-bills.

-Domestic incident from the 500 block of Ninth Avenue Southeast.

-Burglary/theft of property from the 7800 block of Highway 17, Maylene. Stolen were an Idea Pad laptop valued at $300, a DVD player with digital speaker system valued at $60, a keyboard valued at $15 and a Pink Nano iPod valued at $130.

-Burglary/theft of property from 1004 Balmoral Drive (hotel, motel). Stolen were an LG 32-inch television valued at $800, a Phillips DVD player valued at $80, a white pillow case valued at $5, a wood television armoire valued at $300 and a remote control valued at $25.

-Noise complaint from 121 Bluegrass Drive.

-Domestic violence investigation/domestic violence/harassment from the 100 block of Park Place Circle.

-Domestic dispute from 2026 Diane Lane.

Nov. 27

-Information only/noise compliant from the 600 block of 10th Avenue Southwest.
