Firefighters checking child safety seats July 2

Alabaster Fire and Rescue Service will hold a child safety seat checkpoint on Thursday, July 2 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
The checkpoint will be at Alabaster Fire Station No. 3, 910 1st St. S.
Firefighters will examine child safety seats for correct installation, as well as install new safety seats at no cost.
The checkpoint is a joint venture between Alabaster Fire and Rescue Service and Children’s Hospital.
