Evangel boys, girls sweep First Assembly

The Evangel Christian School boys' and girls' basketball teams swept First Assembly Christian School in Alabama Christian Sports Conference play Feb. 4.
BOYS
Evangel Christian 78, First Assembly 28
Dajon Townson led the Lightning (18-2) with 19 points. Mauricio Collante and J.R. Coronado added 14 points each. Coronado finished with a team-high 15 rebounds.
GIRLS
Evangel Christian 65, First Assembly 11
Abby Letson led the Lightning (16-1) with 19 points. Mary Kathryn Sawyer added 15 points and eight rebounds. Rainey Ketcham chipped in 10 points.
