Glasgow leaves legacy of service

When word spread that former Shelby County Sheriff Buddy Glasgow had died, it wasn’t hard to find people to talk about his legacy.
Current Sheriff Chris Curry, who credited Glasgow with bringing him into the sheriff’s department as a reserve deputy, spoke about Glasgow’s hard work during the 1970s-1980s, a time when Shelby County boomed.
